Regulator for Nitrox/Oxygen Analyzer
The above short hose regulator configuration works great. This compact regulator makes it easy to quickly and painlessly analyze the contents of your Nitrox Tanks or Fill System. We don't sell these, but we will tell you how to make them. Most likely, you already have all the pieces you need. Rummaging through the box of old regulators and associated parts most Dive shops have should yield the required items. If you don't work for (or own) a dive shop, drop by your LDS (local dive shop) and offer them some money for what's in the parts box. You should be able to put one of these together for next to nothing.
Add a short high-pressure hose and pressure gage and you have a complete tank checker. To Plumb your regulator into your fill station, you will need some way to mount the regulator. The following adapters are available from either Global Manufacturing Corp. or North Easy Scuba Supply. Hook these into your fill station with a tee and an isolation valve such that they are upstream of the fill whips and air/nitrox banks so that you get a representative sample of the gas as it goes by on its way to its final destination (i.e. nitrox tank or bank).
